China-India Cultural Connections (2014)
Photo by: Peng YangjunOn December 14, 2014, forum of "China-India Cultural Connections" was held in the theater on the third floor of Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art. Under the support of Ministry of Culture of P.R China and the Shanghai Ministry Administration of Culture, radio, film and television, forum is jointly held by the Power Station Museum of Art (PSA) and Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation (BCAF).
Minister Cai Wu sent a congratulatory message to forum. Attend the forum guests include: vice minister of Ministry of culture, Jian-Hua Sun, commissioner of Ministry of culture, Asia Chang Yumeng, deputy director of Shanghai cultural administration of radio, film and television Bei Zhao Jian, India culture relations committee deputy director Jasminder Kasturia, India's consul general of consulate general in Shanghai Naveen Srivastava, India consulate general in Shanghai cultural counsellor Vijay Bhatia. Sixteen cultural and art practitioners from China and India participated in forum as speech experts, video, research reports and other forms.
During "China-India Cultural Connections" , the team of 11 experts in 26 days to visit New Delhi, India, chang head of nine different characteristics of representative cities and with the Indian art, design, music, dance, drama, and other fields important institutions, groups and individuals close communication, multi-angle to encounter collisions, not only deepened the understanding of each other's cultural root vigor, also established a deep friendship, and promote the new cooperation projects, for the future of China and India made a positive and effective exploration of cultural exchange.
