Art+ | Episode 4: Dialogue with "The Sound of Walking"



Music is a universal language that transcends time and space, creating the most touching expressions. There is a group of people who are traveling around, collecting folk music scattered throughout history and around the world, and integrating modern music into it, so that ancient sounds can re-enter the lives of modern people.

Since 2015, the "Walking Sound" team has collected the voices of more than 200 folk intangible cultural heritage music inheritors, and their footsteps have traveled through Hexi Corridor, Tang-Tibetan Ancient Road, and Qinghai Road. Why did they set out? And why are they so persistent and dedicated? As they crossed half of China, what moving music did they collect? Get ready for an aural journey.
